REWARD FLIGHT GUIDE
How to find Virgin Atlantic reward flights
A practical way to compare dates, cabins and complete return combinations—without repeatedly checking one date at a time.
Search live reward seatsVirgin Atlantic reward seats can appear and disappear as travellers book or plans change. The best approach is to search a useful range, compare the full journey and keep checking when nothing suitable is available today.
Start with flexible dates
An exact-date search is useful when your plans cannot move. If you have flexibility, search a wider outbound window and set your acceptable holiday length. That allows complete return trips to be compared across several departure dates.
Use the widest dates and trip-length range you would genuinely book. A broad but unrealistic search creates noise rather than better choices.
Compare the complete trip—not two isolated flights
A low-points outbound date is not automatically a good trip if the return is unavailable or unusually expensive. Compare outbound and inbound seats together, including the dates, cabins, number of seats and estimated combined points.
Reward Seat Scout ranks complete combinations so you can see whether a strong outbound is paired with a return journey that actually works.
Keep more than one cabin open
If your priority is finding the best overall use of points, compare Economy, Premium and Upper Class together. Mixed-cabin trips can sometimes produce a better balance—for example, Premium outbound with Upper Class home.
Choose exact-cabin matching only when you would reject every other combination. Otherwise, flexible cabins let the best complete options rise to the top.
Understand Saver availability
Saver seats use Virgin Atlantic’s lower reward-seat pricing when available. A return trip can contain Saver pricing on both legs, one leg or neither leg. Always look at each direction separately as well as the estimated total.
Availability can change quickly. Treat every result as a planning lead and reconfirm the itinerary directly with Virgin before making other non-refundable arrangements.

A companion voucher can materially change an estimated points total, but the final benefit depends on your Flying Club status, cabin, passengers, voucher rules and the reward seats Virgin offers.
Enter the number and type of vouchers you expect to use so Scout can provide a planning estimate. Virgin Atlantic makes the final eligibility and pricing decision during booking.

Repeated manual checks are easy to forget. A private Reward Seat Scout alert keeps the route, travel window, cabins, travellers and voucher choices together and checks them every hour.
You can ask to hear about Saver availability, a total within your points budget or a meaningful reduction from the best result previously seen. Unchanged results are not repeatedly emailed.
Build a trip and create an alertConfirm every detail before booking
Reward Seat Scout is an independent comparison tool, not a booking agent. Points prices, seat counts, taxes, fees and voucher treatment can change between a calendar check and the final booking screen.
Copy the chosen itinerary, open Virgin Atlantic’s booking page and confirm the complete journey before transferring points, booking accommodation or making another purchase.
