PRIVATE BETA

Privacy notice

Reward Seat Scout is an independent comparison and alert service operated by Paul Carline. This notice explains the limited information used to provide the alerts you request.

What we collect

When you create an alert, we store your email address and the trip details you choose: route, dates, cabins, passenger count, voucher choice and alert rule. We also keep essential security, rate-limit and email-delivery records needed to protect the service and diagnose failed messages.

How we use it

We use this information only to verify your address, give you private access to My Alerts, check the requested reward-seat criteria and send qualifying or test emails. We do not sell your information or use advertising or analytics cookies.

Services involved

The site and database are hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure, and requested emails are delivered through Resend. Virgin Atlantic receives route-and-month calendar requests needed to check availability; it does not receive your email address from Reward Seat Scout. This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Virgin Atlantic.

Cookies and security links

My Alerts uses one essential, secure session cookie lasting up to 30 days. Alert-confirmation links expire after 24 hours and one-time access links expire after 20 minutes. These are used for security and private account access, not tracking.

Control and retention

Your alerts remain available until you delete them. You can pause, resume, test or permanently delete each alert in My Alerts, and sign out at any time. Operational records are retained only as reasonably needed to run and protect the private beta.

Questions or removal requests

During the private beta, contact Paul using the same email or message channel that invited you to test. You can ask what is held about you or request removal of your beta information.
